J. H. Colton’s National Flags chart of c.1863–1866 — a vexillological document produced in New York showing over 100 national and commercial flags, including the Russian-American Company, the Kingdom of Siam, and pilot boat signals from the age of sail.

The front cover reproduces the full Colton chromolithographic chart — a dense grid of over 100 flags arranged by nation and maritime use, printed in New York circa 1863–1866 and engraved by J. H. Colton & Co. The back cover extends the same chart, completing the vexillological panorama with commercial ensigns, pilot signals, and the flags of nations that no longer exist — the Russian-American Company, the Kingdom of Hawaii, the Confederate States.
